Honesdale, PA

It is now February 2011, and we are currently in the town of Honesdale, PA.  Our children are doing well. Rozeanna is in her second year of school, Hunter is in his first. Both are thriving.  Roze took ballet last year, but was not able, due to an attempt to copy my neighbor's son by flipping over a small railing. A broken wrist = no ballet this year.  She has not outgrown her desire to sing, dance and act.

Hunter is a very tall, bright 2 year old, whose nickname is Picasso Jr. I have to keep a lot of magic eraser around, because a crayon or marker in his hands and a blank wall..well , you get the picture!

Joseph I still havn't seen, but  I talk to a lot.He is now online, and how many moms can say they talk to their teenager for 6 hours at a time?  He is doing very well in Florida and getting fantastic grades. I am very proud of all three of my children.

John is working in New Jersey, the next state over, and still struggling.  He was doing ok, until 8 snowstorms in 8 weeks rendered work impossible..  We are behind the 8 ball again, but have faith that something, somehow will happen. Maybe he will get a steady job, or someone will ofer him one. I hope we are in the same state,at least.
John is also trying to start up his own business- a power washing business for roofs, sidewalks and more, with a biodegradable substance.  Look for more info on the links page.

Me? Well, I am hanging in there. I am doing my best to get to the doctor, get my diabeates under control. I am trying to loose weight, and doing everything I can do for the kids.  It is a thrill to have this book written- something I have dreamed of since I was five years old.  I hope this is the beginning of a long, successful career, and my 9 manuscripts of  different areas will be published.

As for our living- well, we are behind the 8 ball right now, and praying for a miracle. It will come- we have faith.  Just not sure where, or when , or how. I don't know if Honesdale will be the place we settle down and grow roots, but we are coming close to finding out,I think.  People here are friendly, warm  and willing to help.

We do love this town of around 5 thousand, and it's many programs, festivals, parties and more our kids enjoy.this is a nice community to raise kids in. One day though, soon, I hope to move into our own house-this one is a cute rental-but our own is what we have dreamed of since we got together.

Since being here, I have had the privlige of writing freelance for the Wayne Independent from OCt 2009, to May of 2010, when cuts had me laid off.  I also freelanced for a local advertising company, and written an article in the March 2010 edition of Connections Magazine.  Now, comes "Christ for Carnies".   I am excited to see what the future holds.
