Statue of Liberty
Ahhh! Lady Liberty inspires as much as today as she did the day she was revealed to the world. A beautiful gift to the United States, giving hope to those who crossed the sea in search of a better life. We were like them, our ancestors-everything we could carry in our trunks (car, in this case) , with just our family, and nothing but the future in sight, and a unyielding trust in GOD.
If you ever get up in her direction, trust me, the visit to both Lady Liberty and Ellis Island are well worth the trip, and may your heart become inspired , knowing you can be anything you wished to be.
We had a beautiful, peaceful day in July, and also in May 2010, when we went with Amber and Autumn. Both times were a wonderful experience, and we got to learn so much more. This is a sight every American should see.
