Home of the legendary Fiddlers Grove,  a town within the fair made up of historic buildings from around Tennessee. It was an awesome pleasure to visit this fair, which was the first fair John, the kids, and I were back together in.We slept in the bed compartment of a tractor trailer for 8 days, ate dinner together on John's break at a picnic table, and watched the fireworks every night.

But we decided not to let our situation destroy us- we were going to make the most of it.  I am so very glad we decided that. There was much history to see and share with the children.  Yes, they were young, but I think they absorbed a fair amount of the pleasantries of Fiddlers Grove, the fair, concerts and the town itself.  People were very friendly, and I would love to go back and visit this quaint area once more.  I mean, how many chances do you get to sit on the Hee Haw stage? Or see so many country stars perform, since Nashville is just down the road?   Being with the fair had its downfalls, but, if one was smart enough to look, it also had its joys.
